Alocasia Serendipity Pink Variegated
The name Alocasia ‘Serendipity Pink Variegated’ comes from the serendipitous manner in which the plant was discovered. LariAnn Garner, a longtime grower, found this plant in an obscure nursery in the early 2000s. She was struck by the plant's unique dark green color, which made it different from other Alocasias.
The term “Serendipity” refers to the happy and accidental discovery of something beneficial. It is an appropriate name for this plant, given the circumstances of its discovery. ☄️🍀
